The Limb Loss & Difference Lab is devoted to conducting research that matters to patients and clinicians. People with limb loss and limb difference make up more than 5.6 million people in the United States, yet many face challenges related to prosthetic use, access to healthcare, and regaining mobility.
Our research seeks to understand individual experiences of those living with limb loss and limb difference to enhance our research design, interpretation, and dissemination. Long-term, we believe that our person-centered research efforts will improve the lives of those with limb loss and limb difference.
